Help with a warm-weather safety/likely

I think everyone needs to get back to OP. Repeating an earlier thought:

  1. This isn’t debating whether Elon is a solid school or not (I know it is).

  2. This isn’t debating if someone got into C of C who never would get into Elon (that’s another question - school selectivity.

The OP specifically mentioned two schools (Chapman and C of C) and noted:

so the reason I singled out CoC and Chapman is because she is looking for a non-rural (preferably urban) campus, with a sizable Jewish population (well that last bit might be more important to me than to her).

The reason Elon doesn’t work is not based on whether or not it’s a great school - whether I call it rural or you call it suburban. Elon simply doesn’t work based on the OPs desire - and if you look at the entirety of the OPs list - you would also come to that same conclusion

Please move on from debating if Elon is rural or suburban.

Re Davidson being a target or not, with a 4.0 and 1500+ SAT I think it is a good target. Like Elon it is a suburban school close to a larger metro. The towns of Davidson and Cornelius are actually a little smaller than Elon and Burlington, but Charlotte is larger than Greensboro, so it might work for her. These schools are all schools I am very familiar with (NC native). Know a LOT of Davidson alums (am related to several). They are smart people who loved their time as Wildcats. Davidson is 30 minutes from uptown Charlotte (if the traffic is nice), metro population 2.7 million.
