I need a school with a solid business program that is in a warm-weather area. no small schools. Help Please!

Your home state ? Look at University of Texas at Austin, University of California-Berkeley and University of Florida.

my home state is PA but I do not want to stay here…Berkeley is way too liberal for me though

Well look at Texas A&M its one of the most conservative colleges.
What’s your estimated family contribution ? Your stats ? You can look at some well known colleges for Business like Tulane University.

Not knowing your stats, some quick ideas are: USC, UFlorida, UMiami, URichmond, Tulane, UT-Austin, UNC, UVa, William & Mary.

I don’t know what my efc is but Im leaving financing out of it at this point.

1800 SAT first time, taking again in may
4.0 weighted GPA 3.7ish unweighted
Reasonable amount of ECs including a few leadership positions

I visited Miami (FL) and am visiting USC (CA) in June

I am ranked 26 out of 388 and here are the schools I am currently considering

USC
Miami
Boston U
Boston College
U of Florida
James Madison
Northeastern
Penn State

I am looking for others in warmer regions

Let’s see, warmer than USC and Florida… How about U of Colombia (South America)? I would not leave out financing in college selection. At least pick a safety which you know would accept you, you would be willing to attend, and that you can afford.

i dont mean warmer than USC and Florida, similar to those but warmer than my home state of PA…I do have a financial aid safety school though (Penn State)

Better talk to your parents about what they are willing to contribute, and what the financial parameters are that you can put in each school’s net price calculator. There is no point in applying to schools which have no chance of being affordable.

Penn State is rather poor with financial aid, even for in-state students, so you want to be sure to check its net price calculator.

I’m really just looking at schools without financial aid and narrowing it down afterwards

Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, and Wake Forest are large, solid business schools in warm weather, likely within your stat range. Some better schools like Emory, Vanderbilt, Rice, Tulane, UNC, and Duke are reaches (perhaps extreme reaches) unless you get that SAT up.
