Help With College Picks And Chances. Please

Hello forum. I would be very grateful if you guys could me some colleges to start to look at in Ohio and Kentucky based on what I have so far. Also it would be great if you could tell me how good of a chance I have at getting in to Murray State University, which at this time, is my #1 choice because of how good I've heard the college is.

Okay so right now I'm in my sophomore year in high school. Right now, and last year as well, I averaged a 3.8 to 3.9 GPA UW and a 4.8 to 4.9 W. We have already taken to pre ACT test and they predict my score on the real ACT will be a 27 or 28. I play varsity soccer, but I'm not part of any other club at this time.

So based on what I have above, can you guys please give me some colleges in Ohio, Kentucky, and maybe a few others Midwestern states that I should possibly look into.

Thanks!

Study hard for your ACT!
Maybe if you get a great ACT score and step up some of your EC’s you could be a reach for UChicago, do some volunteer work and some impressive leadership.

For some matches, I would apply to Ohio State, University of Illinois Urbana-champaign, and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Always apply to a couple of safeties too, some good safeties for you could be Miami University- Oxford OH, Ohio University, and UIC (All great schools from what I hear).

Murray State University is definitely a safety for you, you’ll almost definitely get in.

Good Luck!

Thanks. I didn’t really look into Ohio State that much, but since you said I may have a chance at that I will check into it!

And, for U Chicago, pay attention to your essays, too.
