so for "Step Two: Your and Your Spouse's Income and Assets" i don't have a spouse. it asks me for amounts of income and that's easy i can just put 0. but what do i put for "For 2009, have you completed your IRS income tax return or another tax return?" because i have to choose an option, but i don't do taxes cuz i don't work? and also, when i correct a fafsa, does it automatically update the schools that have received it already? or does it second like a second fafsa application for me? i'm finding FAFSA really confusing. i'm a dependent student. and also for the parent information it'll ask if my paents receved food stamps or something and there's no "No" option. I only have a Yes option. so I'm really confused?? please help me. I need money and i don't want to fill this out incorrectly.

Please don’t start a new thread because we are hoping you answer on the old one. Don’t put anything for spouse because you don’t have a spouse. If it asks you if you filed income tax and you don’t work or need to do the income tax form then put no.

there’s not a “no” option? it’s like “will go on file” or “not going on file”

I am thinking the food stamp question was one where you only click on it if is it a yes answer otherwise you ignore it?

Not going on file.

Will file
Will not file
Already filed.

something like that.

okay also im confused on how to add schools. i have 13. so i do the first ten, submit. then delete my schools and add the other three and then submit again? is that how it works?

Yes…but wait until you are sure the first one has been processed.
