Hi, I am currently a freshman at Radford University, in Virginia. I am out-of-state and I am realizing that the cost might make it unrealistic for me to continue attending. My state of residence is Alabama, since that is where my parents are living, my question is how can I find out about the scholarships I might be eligible for if I transfer to a school such as Alabama, Troy, or Auburn. I tried using the net price calculators that those schools have on their websites, but none of them included estimated grants/scholarships. I currently have a scholarship that covers about 1/3 of my total costs each year (about $10,000) I don't want to transfer if my costs will be similar. I am planning to stay at my current school for my entire freshman year, and if I can save a significant amount of money I would transfer for my sophomore year. I'm not sure if anyone would be able to help me, but if someone could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it. If I'm not providing enough information or explaining myself, please tell me and I can do what I can to explain it better.
