Help with high school classes???!!!!!

Hi, I am a sophomore going into my junior year, and I just picked out my schedule and I am not sure if it is good. I want to do as many rigorous courses that I can not only challenge myself, but also show colleges. Sadly I go to a very small school where not many opportunities and not very good classes are. What I want to major in college is in the health profession, I will most likely go for Nursing, Pre- Med, or a basic health such as public health, or communication and disorders. Here is my schedule SO FAR

 1. Gym/ Chem Lab (Every Other Day)
 2. Chemistry
 3. Mythology and Film (Forced to take because I did all other electives offered at that period)
 4. French III
 5. Lunch/ Study Hall ( 20 min each)
 6. Drivers Ed first semester, and health the second semester
 7. English 11
 8. AP/ College US History
 9. Trig/ A2

As seen, i have to take basic classes. So my question is are my classes good enough? Should I take out my third period and do conceptual biology, even though it is just an elective, not a college class? OR should I take the 3rd period out and put a study hall or reading hall and self-study an AP class. My School offers AP classes online and I would want to do Psychology, but I would also like to do at least one more AP class for my junior year, I am willing to self-study them myself, so I ask for the best AP class I should self-study for a health-related career.

Since you mentioned you can take courses online, I would see if I could take some of those courses over the summer (I know FLVS has most of those courses available; if you took drivers ed and a PE class on it, you’d prob finish in two months if you really works on it) and then try to rearrange everything to see if you can add another course that you want or have another free period/study hall to fit in any self-studying.

Try opting into honor courses if you want to challenge yourself or have more rigorous courses. If you don’t want to take Mythology that much, then I’d advise you to self study an AP course (self-study an easy one if this is your first time - here is a guide on how to self-study).

Personally, I would try to take some courses over the summer and get into higher classes. Depending on what I would want, I would either take AP Psych or self-study.

If you can schedule period 6 as “independent study” or the name of your online AP class, it’d be better. Replace English with AP English Language, and period 6 with an AP of your choice.
