Help with humanities, please!!

I'm putting together my schedule for CalSO tomorrow, and I'm a bit stumped about what class to take for humanities. I'm not too concerned about time, since I'm not going to be scheduling any humanities classes for Phase I (Bioengineering major here.) I'd really, really like to do a Spanish minor, but in addition to that, I need to get rid of a R&C (1b) so I'd like some input.

I'm deciding between Comparative Lit, English, and Philosophy. I am curious about philosophy, but not curious enough to sign up for it outright. I would also like to know how classes in lit and English are structured based on how many required books there are.

Any advice would be great!

Check out the websites for each department. They updated what they will be teaching this fall so you should find the theme and the required readings for each section.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about much about taking R&C immediately since you have the first 2 years to do that. It is one of the much harder humanity courses out there too… But of course, if you can’t think of other courses to take, go ahead. I promise your writing skill will vastly improve.
