Hi, I have a lot of questions actually. It's my first post, so yea :)

I'm taking Biology and Chemistry as highers next year, but apparently universities prefer Physics because it shows "we're willing to work hard"?

What are the required courses for premed, and what are the normal majors people take if they want to apply to medical school? I know the practical course would be to take a science, but I've heard that a non-science would also work.

This would probably be better for the high school section of “premed.” I have no idea about what sciences to take now, but I can tell you it will make no difference in med-school apps.

The requirements are: 1 year general bio, 1 year general chem, 1 year physics, 1 year ochem, 1 year math (at least 1 semester physics), 1 year English

You’re IN HIGH SCHOOL. Enjoy high school. It is entirely irrelevant to medical school. Get into a college where you’ll be successful. Then we’ll talk. Until then, nothing you do matters except insofar as it helps you get into college.

Oh yeah… and get off CC. It’s bad for your health.
