So i asked my teacher for a letter of rec and she handed me it when she was done. so does this mean that i have to mail it myself to the school? im applying through the common app so after reading my letter i realized i guess i have to choose not to waive or something. Please help me i am doing this all myself and am very confused, im starting to think that i should have told her to send it herself but i did not know before.

Wait so it isok that i mail them myself then? because she gave me alot of copies in case i applied to other schools. and if im applying through common app is it legal to mail one in and(now that im aware) have my other teacher send it through common app?

Yes, before Common App uploads, teachers gave copies to students to send in themselves. It’s “legal” to use both methods of transmission. The point is that the college gets them, not how they get them.
