I know the choice of major/minor does not matter for pre-med school, but what minor do you guys recommend for a pre-health student? I am currently a biosci major but may change to NPB, and I was looking at psychology and sociology for a possible minor in humanities.

I also wanted to learn an Asian language in college with no previous experience. Is it possible for me to take language courses on top of major/minor reqs, pharm school reqs, GEs, and ISHP reqs? Science majors have no foreign language requirement.

The classes I want to take for fall quarter total 18 units - Chem 2A (5), MAT 17A/B (4), UWP (4) if I can get in, IST A/B/C (4), and IST 9 (1). My friend told me that 15 units is the average workload. Is 18 units manageable, or should I lighten up for the first quarter? I feel like if I don’t take as many classes now, I won’t have enough room down the road.

Thanks for any answers! =]
