<p>These were the only ones that I got wrong, and since the book doesn't come with any explanations, I can't figure out where to start on these kinds of problems.</p>

86-70= 16</p>
<p>So you know that that N has 16 people
and you know that P has 6 people</p>
<p>P/N= 6/16= 3/8 = 0.375</p>
<p>let's say d= 50 dollar and with each ounch you can make 2 cups</p>
<p>So you can buy 8 ounces with 50 dollar
and thereby able to make 16 cups
Cost of making 1 cup =50/16= 3,125 dollar</p>
<p>Now you must try evry answer, and check whcih one is correct:</p>
<p>d/8c= 50/(8<em>2)= 3,125 Correct!!
2</em>50/8= 12,5 Wrong
8<em>2/50=0,32 Wrong
8</em>50/2=200 Wrong
2<em>16</em>50=1600 wrong</p>
