Hi guys,
I am going to graduate in this 17 fall semester in PCC and applying winter quarter in UCR.
Major: Business Administration
Current GPA: 2.907 (will end like 3.0 or + after fall semester)
PreReqs: will be completed
TAG: No
IGETC: will be completed
What are my chances of getting in? I am an international student. I only applied UCR and this is really gambling.
Appreciate if anyone can answer my concern.
I think it will be a tough admit since the UC transfer GPA admit range was 3.18-3.68 with a 55% admit rate. It is a huge gamble and you should definitely consider a backup plan. There are several Cal States that would be good backup options.

I agree^.
You may want to try the Cal States. Fullerton will be tough because it is an impacted campus, but you can try San Bernardino, nearer to Pasadena.
Considering you are an international student, it might be a bit more difficult than a California community college transfer with the same stats (those students are first priority). Definitely apply, especially Cal states
pretty slim - You should have applied elsewhere. What’s your plan B?
Gxs3000,
While nothing is guaranteed, it does seem like UCR is expanding its student population to nearly double by 2025 (source here: http://www.pe.com/2015/09/21/uc-riverside-transformative-expansion-plan-in-the-works/). So you definitely picked the right time to apply to UCR.
I would suggest drawing up some contingency plans (maybe applying to a wider range of schools for a later semester, researching possible international transfer students resources, etc), but you still may be a highlander yet (this semester or the next).
