<p>I sent my application in like two weeks ago for EA online. The day after i told my counselor to send my teacher recs, transcript and stuff. I got a letter from ND last week saying they recieved my application and all they needed was the teacher recs and transcript and that if i already sent them that i need not worry bout it. But i already had sent them like two weeks ago and i still haven't gotten confermation that they have them and when i try to call they just say that they have lots of piles to still go through. Today is the EA deadline...i still haven't gotten the letter saying they have what they need to review it. Should i be worried cause i dunno...what if they never recieved my stuff and now that its passed the deadline for EA...ahhh im just a little nervous can't you tell...is this delay normal?</p>

<p>Did you confirm with your counselor that they were sent? Ask him/her if they can re-send them - overnight (you'll pay if necessary - and of course you'll prepare the fedex shipping slip and envelope. Got to make this incredibly easy for the counselor at this point).</p>
<p>Counselors vary in quality, I've learned. Some are lazy, some procrastinate, etc., so it's entirely possible your information is, indeed, in that stack ND is sorting through.</p>
<p>thanks...yeah i know my counselor sent it...they keep really good records...it has to be there i just don't know why i haven't gotten my records yet its weird...if i don't get a letter by friday im calling agian so we will see</p>
<p>Well, for what it's worth, I don't think Notre Dame is out to "catch" any of their applicant pool missing deadlines - I've heard other stories about how they're pretty understanding in matters such as this. If they have your main application, and you are making a very good effort to make sure your information is complete, I'm sure you'll be fine. It's good you're staying on top of it until you have the word that all is well.</p>
