Hello. I'm having a hard time choosing what school to attend. For me its between Fordham Gabelli School of business of UMich LSA. I feel that I would fit in better at Fordham but it's business department is not as strong as Michigan. Does anyone know how Gabelli's reputation is and if it is bound to go up with the new facilities? Or should i go to michigan and apply to ross my freshman year, which would be taking a risk. Help

OR* UMich LSA

Think about internships

Gabelli has a solid reputation, particularly in the NY area. It should only improve as the new business school building will be ready next fall. UMichigan is a great school, but if you are sure that you want to study business, it is a risk to go to LSA. I have friends whose kids went to UM but did not make it into Ross as sophomores. You need get a high GPA and have strong activities as a freshman to stand a chance. I’d try to find out what you need to get into Ross as a sophomore and see if it is worth the risk to you.
