I'm hoping to get into the architecture program for all of the schools except Cornell--I'm applying for the art and science department there.

Please be as honest as you can--I need your help.

Harvard: Very very hard but it's hard for everyone
Cornell: reach
Carnegie Mellon: reach.. u need to submit a portfolio rite? make that good
UVA: match if you're instate. reach if ur out of state
vtech: safety if you're instate. match otherwise
illinois: safety to match

good luck

Do you have any suggestions on what I could do to improve my chances to get into Carnegie? That's my first choice...

Thanks :-)

I talked with the counselors and they said to apply Early Decision will help a lot.
I'm applying to Carnegie Mellon too for Tepper Business. I really fell in love with the school and its campus. It's all green, quite, pretty, and compact. Meanwhile the busy city is a pretty quick walk so it makes you feel all important on your private hill lol.

Harvard is an unrealistic reach. The other reaches will be really tough with current sats.
