Help?!

Alrighty, well my first post didn't go so well, I guess. It seems like it's harder to get responses when you're not striving for the ivies or the like.

I want to go into pharmacy. I am applying(so far, although I don't see any reason I'll apply to others) at UW-Madison, UM-Twin Cities, St.Louis College of Pharmacy, Purdue, and St.John's.

I think I have a good shot at getting into most of them. I am ranked 8 out of my senior class of 502, have a 32 ACT, and have decent, but not spectacular, extra-curriculars and community service.

My question isn't so much whether i'm applying to the right colleges, or whether i'll get in, although I'll take any advice on that as well, but more like what I should base my decision on when it comes to choosing one. I really can't pick one, I just go back and forth on why I should go to a particular one.

So, I guess I'm looking for some guidance/help in how to choose the college? I've visited four of them(all except St.John's), and they all seem completely adequate, and it hasn't helped at all. :/

I wish I could help you but unfortuantely I'm not really familiar with these schools. However, it really seems you can shoot higher...

did you prefer the feeling of being in a big city like st. louis and minneapolis, or smaller city like west lafayette and madison? just something to maybe help you narrow down.

UW-Madison, since you are in-state, would be the best choice, IMO.

You may end up changing your mind about pharmacy school, and UW-Madison will give you plenty of options if you do.

Purdue and UM-Twin Cities are also good choices.

You can also apply to a pharmacy school later when you have completed undergrad and decide what you want to do.

Good luck!
