Help?

So, I'm a junior right now. I haven't really been into school that much but now, I'm really trying to get in shape. I'm out of state and I want to know if I would have a chance to UCSB.
I haven't taken any AP classes but I'm starting to my senior year. My only honors class is French since freshman year. Freshman gpa: 3.9 Sophomore: 3.7 Junior: 3.7 (but I'm going to raise it up to at least a 3.8). These are all unweighted btw. For my senior year, I plan to take 5 AP courses. I also plan on getting a 28 on my ACT & high 600's or 700 for SAT subject tests.
EC:
volleyball (1 year)
basketball (1 year)
korean club (1 year)
track and field (3 years)
volunteering at children's hospital (2 years)
working (2.5 years)
National Honor Society (2 years)

You need to calculate your UC GPA which does not include freshman or senior grades: [CaliforniaColleges.edu - Calculating Your GPA](http://www.californiacolleges.edu/admissions/california-state-university-csu/gpa_calculator.asp)

estimated around a 3.7 UC gpa?

That would be a reach. 65% have a 3.75 or higher. http://bap.ucsb.edu/IR/CommonDataSet.pdf</a> A 28 or higher ACT would help a little bit since that’s toward the 75%ile. It would also help that you are going to be virtually full pay (the UCs need the money). I hope you can afford that.

oh I re-calculated and got UC gpa 3.83

Were many honors and AP classes available to you?

We only started having ap classes last year but I was transferring schools so I had to wait & this year I couldn’t because I had to get my graduation requirements out of the way
