Helphelphelp- emergency- letter of rec for syracuse university

So when Syracuse asked for two letters of recommendation, I thought having my guidance counselor and English teacher write a LOR would be good. However, on the School Forms page on the Common Application it says "Add Second Teacher," but my guidance counselors name does not come up. I don't know if this is because she hasn't turned in her LOR or because i'm not allowed to use my guidance counselors LOR as a "teacher" LOR. Her name, however, is under Guidance Counselor. I'm not sure what to do. I've finished the application for SU, and it's due in 6 days, so even if I need another teacher rec. i'm not sure how i'd get one. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to use my guidance counselors LOR for the teacher LOR section? Or is there a seperate section for guidance counselors?

Oh…I hate to say this, but the Syracuse undergraduate admissions page says pretty clearly that applicants must send a “secondary school counselor evaluation” and “two academic recommendations.”

I hope somebody will happen along with better advice than mine, which is to send the second letter as quickly as possible and email the admissions office (email the actual admissions officer who will read your application if you can find that name) and explain that you second letter will be late, but will be coming.
