What happens if you do not attend the summer
Orientation?????

i dont think anything happens

I wasnt keen on going but then i decided to just register since my friends said it was kinda cool

you could just register and then not show up, nothing’ll happen

Orientation isn’t mandatory, it is just highly recommended because they do teach you a lot of things. The problem is that there will be a charge of $175.00 for first year students ($85.00 for transfer students) on your term bill, so unless you can email them with an excuses, you’re already paying for it.
If you really can’t go, you can email orientation@echo.rutgers.edu and make other arrangements. I think he have a make-up orientation at the beginning of the semester.

Well I didn’t really want to go, but I gave it a shot, and surprisingly it wasn’t half bad, and I’m the type who doesn’t like to be all school patriotic. Plus no one from my school went, so I knew nobody, but I made some good friends there.

Might I ask why you don’t want to go maybe? I hear that fee is fixed onto the term bill, so it’ll be there even if you opt out, which was implemented this year.

I have work and i might be goin on vacation. And how do i sign up
For the make up orientation???

If you email orientation@echo.rutgers.edu and say why you can’t attend they will make arrangements with you to go to an orientation during the year.

I emailed them a few days ago, but they havent replied yet.

Its been about 10 days since i’ve emailed them and i still didnt get any reply from them, any suggestions?
