Hey guys, my question has arrived because, as always, there is somebody that tells you that you might **** up if you this or that" Anyway, I started in 08 at NEIU in chicago. My experience there was far from good, so i always thought of transferring. I transferred to Loyola University in 2010. My experience at this school has been ok, but it lacked of more college experience for its cost. I got involved but since the price tag is near 50K a year i could not afford to live on campus. This year the tuition increased 5% and adding all my loans to actually have a college experience is near 25k so im paying about 50% annually. As the economic situation keeps worsening and my major is not as promising as other sciences, i thought of applying somewhere else. i got into U of I for next semester. My financial situation has changed since then and now its has been hard for me to think about this number ( 25k). I know that, with effort, i can come out with this money by having some loans but i dont think this is a wise thing to do.However, on the other side, im somehow afraid that this transferring situation will prevent me from going to the grad school i want. My stats are really good. GPA of 3.7 with a double major in political science and international studies. i would like to go to a top grad school like Georgetown or perhaps Columbia. DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT TRANSFERRING TWICE, MAINLY BECAUSE FINANCIAL REASONS, CAN STOP ME FROM GETTING INTO ANY OF THESE LAW SCHOOLS ?
PS:It will take me about the same time to graduate so im not concern about that. Please, be as helpful as possible. I would appreciate any good insight on this issue.

From what I hear, it may. No one wants a “college hopper”, but then again your reasons are different. Why don’t you call a few of these graduate schools and find out?
