Transfer twice?

Hey.. So I just transferred to the University of Minnesota but I'm thinking about transferring again (University of Washington specifically) But I'm not sure if it would look so great for grad school. I've listed the pros and cons:

Pros
Much higher institution (Rank-wise)
Free from the brutal winters!
I think I would actually enjoy it there and be more motivated to do well

Cons
It would be the second time I transferred
My established relationships with those in the research field would be lost
I'm not even enrolled into my desired major yet due to pre reqs.

I would appreciate all opinions on this matter as I hope to see this through all angles. Thanks!

Btw I wouldn't mind the rain and cloudy days in Seattle, I actually prefer it rather than freezing weather.

Do you feel as if your experience at Minnesota has been bad enough to warrant transfer? If you are only transferring for the UDubs name, I would reconsider your choice, only because a double-transfer to UDubs, although not a bad thing, might set off more red flags than help you case.

UW makes the transfer process extremely difficult. Have you looked into it? I think transferring twice is probably a bad idea, but trying to transfer to UW would likely be in my opinion, a worse one.

I don’t know what your major is, but if you need to transfer, I don’t think you should let the idea of a ‘black mark’ on your applications to grad schools stop you. My dad transfered a total of 4 times I believe, before settling on UC Berkeley. He eventually went on to Harvard Law, and was accepted to every Law School he applied to except Yale. Was his transferring the black mark that got him a Yale rejection? Who knows. But it clearly wasn’t a hugely deciding factor in all of his applications.
