Helppppp Pleasssssssssse

<p>so i am currently in a CC studying architecture. I have 4.0 GPA right now and hopefully i can maintain that for the next two semesters. i just had a quick question....</p>

<p>i live in CAlifornia ..and i am really interested in UCLA ...but when i look at their architecture program...it says thats is major is Architectural Studies and its description says this:</p>

<p>"The B.A. in Architectural Studies is a two year major offered as a major
concentration of study within the larger liberal arts curriculum beginning with
the junior year of residence. The sequence of courses is designed to meet two
objectives. The first provides an understanding of architecture and urban design
as a humanistic discipline, which includes culture, social studies and the
history of architecture and cities. The second provides at the same time
preparation for graduate studies. Admission is highly competitive and only a
limited number of students will be admitted each Fall. Transfer students will be
required to enroll in the full two year major sequence regardless of the number
of years already spent in undergraduate studies prior to admission as an
architectural studies major."</p>

<p>From this what i got was that UCLA didn't offer a good architecture program like UC Berkeley and CalPoly SLO...</p>

<p>my next question is ......how hard is it to get into an IVY league school for architecture...GPA? portfolio? internships?
what should i do to get into a TOP school</p>

<p>i currently work for an engineering firm in Sacramento and have been since Freshman year of high school.... but i am going to work for an architecture firm over summer...</p>

<p>someone please help</p>
