Here Is Your Chance!

I just discovered this thread and read the entire thing, so lovely. When we toured Putney I was blown away by the natural lay out of the campus and buildings, it felt like summer camp…and Art everywhere! In the trees, in the ceiling… but the part that made me a bit weepy was the school spirit and closeness at the morning assembly. The kids were so into it. It was amazing to be a part of that.

I won’t name names, but I am absolutely infatuated with my top choice. I didn’t actually get to tour the campus but the parts I saw were incredible. I love its traditions, clubs, sports, classes… blah blah blah. Their student handbook is actually funny with memes and things. I happen to know some pretty cool people who’ve gone there, which has influenced my love a little bit. I’m dreaming so hard. I hope they see something in me. :x

I think I have a slight suspicion where you’re talking about. @stargirl3

I see you as an Andover girl, Stargirl3

@Britmom5‌ My mom does too;)

If you guys are done Chancing each other you can contribute to my thread now . Look at this thread like it’s a time capsule for future applicants to read and enjoy…

Read the OP and let it rip ( and have some fun )

So close to M10, I doubt many applicants will want to jinx it, nor would I encourage them to do so until acceptances are in hand. @PhotographerMom

Perhaps after M10 then…

Would anyone like to contribute?

One feature that I absolutely loved about Exeter was how top-notch the admissions office was. They were always friendly, especially my AO, and always responded to my emails extremely quickly. My AO was one of the nicest people I have ever met and her love for the school made me love the school as well.

Alas, the very kind school I wrote about rejected me. Still a fabulous place.

I love that Westover accepted me even though they knew I couldn’t go. I have so much respect for them.

I forgot what this thread was about  so I went back and re-read it and saw my old post, funny

The first year with DS1 when I toured… I found St. Paul’s School has the most beautiful campus… After visiting Exeter, I wanted my “do-over.”
Places where I could not see my kids (perhaps nor myself) in : Andover, Deerfield, Taft

The second year with a nephew after I toured… I wrote that I liked Berkshire and Putney.

The third year with DS2 I finally got to visit St. Andrew’s! It was as pretty as I expected and people were warm and friendly. (something had always gotten in the way of visiting there before)
DS2 said “Mom! It’s Narnia!” and then at another school “Mom, it’s Narnia 2!” … “Narnia 3!”
I don’t remember which one was “Narnia” 1,2,3 exactly but the Narnia’s are:
NMH School (tree lined entry along the Lamplighter Way)
St. Andrew’s School, and
Berkshire School
(DS2 didn’t visit but St. Paul’s School certainly would be another Narnia.)
:x

“BUT ASLAN IS BASED OFF OF GOD!”

Sorry, inside joke with English class.
