I was just wondering who everyone's hero/role model is?
I have a few:

1) Winston Churchill
2) Nelson Mandela
3) Steve Biko (I'm really into South African anti-apartheid activists :))
4) Ron Clark (phenomenal educator who won Disney's Teacher of the Year Award in 2000)

Everyone mentioned in this thread so far seemed cool but I had to wiki a few of them lol

I honestly don't have a role model.
I wouldn't classify him as my "role model", but I do look up to a friend who goes to my school who is very successful in everything he does.

^How has someone not already mentioned these extraordinary gentlemen.

Oh and Jessica Alba, but only because she is something--I mean someone--that/who "motivates" me when times are down. -->Do not be offended, I am a feminist, a teenage feminist!
