Hesitate between Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering

Hi everybody.
I am 23 years old, I just got a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, however it was not my preferred field because I met a lot of mathematics and also programming, so I’m thinking about changing my path a little .

I think I do either civil engineering or industrial engineering, I already during my first year studying courses on mechanics and also chemistry, it was like a preparatory year, and therefore I can say that I have notions of bases.

I like everything that is concrete, I do not like programming a lot and also I do not like maths and even mechanics, my level is OK in these disciplines. So what is the specialty you suggest to me?

Maybe get general engineering job (not requiring EE) nd see how you like it. Then decide whether it is worthwhile investing in more educaiton.

It might be a good idea to spend a year or two in industry first. You may be able to get an industrial engineering type job now, such as a production engineer for an electronics chip manufacturer.

Also, if you’re interested in systems work, you could work for a company that will pay for your masters degree, and get a systems engineering master.
