Industrial or Civil?

I'm currently an industrial engineering student, but I am considering switching to civil. It seems as though industrial is mostly in manufacturing which I have no interst in. I would also prefer working outside so I feel like getting an outdoors job or at least part time outdoors would be more civil. I'm not really sure what an entry level civil engineeer would be going though. I'd rather not just be at a computer doing cad drawings all the time. Also not sure of the job outlooks of civil and the difficulty for advancement. I think the job outlooks of both are pretty good though.

Can I get some opinions or any advice?

A degree in civil engineering would definitely give you more opportunity to work outdoors. Maybe geology, but that requires addt’l study beyond the undergrad level
