<p>You preregister for classes by mail, but you can change your selections online any time until the end of drop/add period. I think everyone who registers before the deadline has an equal chance of getting in.</p>
<p>Factrak ( <a href="http://wso.williams.edu/Factrak/home%5B/url%5D">http://wso.williams.edu/Factrak/home</a> ) rates the profs, but only Williams students can access it. If you have questions about a particular prof, you can post in a forum and a student will probably get you the factrak reviews.</p>
<p>Freshmen don't get a choice of dorms; you're placed into either mission or the frosh quad. Which one is better is really a matter of personal preference; they're both quite decent.</p>
