Im in oklahoma and i have been taking pre-ap/ AP classes all highschool. But my maturity level in the 9th grade was very bad and it lasted all the way till junior year, basically i procrastinated a lot. Now this is my senior year and i am totally hit by reality, cause i've always wanted to go to OU. But i looked online and the yearly tuition is 18,481.50 for a year. Basically I am trying really hard to bring up my ACT score this year and do really good in my AP classes. I know it's too late but is there even a slight hope for me to get a scholarship ? or should i just go to a community college ?

CC could be one of your safety schools.

True, My current gpa is a 3.0 and 23 on ACT. Hoping to get that up to a 30 cause that 23 was when i totally winged it.

Go to the OU website and check their merit scholarship qualifications. Even if you can get your ACT up, you may not be able to get your GPA up to the level that would qualify.

You could always go to CC for 2 years and transfer to OU. That would save a ton of money. Otherwise, look for some other schools that you can afford without needing to cross your fingers on getting merit scholarships. Any chance you will be eligible for need-based aid?
