I'm a senior out of Clinton High School in Oklahoma. I am valedictorian of my class, 4.0 GPA, taken every honor And AP class available and have a 29 on my ACT. I want to attend the University of Oklahoma; however, I am not able to pay the tuition. How much do you think I will be given?

Have you looked at their scholarships list? What is your EFC?

If you’re smart enough to be Val, then you should be smart enough to look at OU’s website for scholarships…

[Scholarships - Future Sooners - The University of Oklahoma](http://www.ou.edu/go2/home/scholarships.html)

http://www.ou.edu/content/dam/recruitment/Downloads/2011.12%20FR%20Scholarship%20Descriptions_RESIDENT.pdf

Some scholarships are “first come, first serve” and the deadline is Feb 1st, so if you haven’t submitted your scholarship application yet, do so ASAP.

You are encouraged to RETEST (and take the SAT) because they will consider later higher scores.

If you’re low income, then you might also qualify for some grant money.

However, I doubt that you’re going to get all school costs covered, so you need to talk to your parents about how much they can pay, how much you can earn over the summer, and you may have to take out a 5,500 student Stafford loan.
