hey guys my report card

At my school, it is a 3.83.

I get 89. My school grades on a 100-point scale, and we neither average in Phys. Ed. nor weight "honors" courses. We technically don't have honors, but we do have "accelerated" which isn't weighted. Then you would add 1 point to your final unweighted average for each AP you took. So if 89 turned out to be your final unweighted average, your weighted average would be 90.

3.83 if 90 and above is A at your school.
3.17 if 93 and above is A at your school.
This is calculated on the standard A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0 scale. Some schools add variations for pluses and minuses in the grade.

No one can get your actual unweighted GPA unless you tell us your percentage cutoffs for each letter grade!

3.3 at my school

ok um lets see 90-92 is A- 80-82 is B- im guessing thats all u guys really need to know to calculate it since most of my grades are A-.

so... ^ does that mean i have a 3.58?? cuz that freaking sucks man.

84 = B = 3.0
91 = A- = 3.66
90 = A- = 3.66
90 = A- = 3.66
93 = A = 4.0
90 = A- = 3.66

Average: 3.61 = A-

OR

84 = B = 3.0
91 = A = 4.0
90 = A = 4.0
90 = A = 4.0
93 = A = 4.0
90 = A = 4.0

Average: 3.83 = A

OR

84 = B = 3.0
91 = A- = 3.66
90 = A- = 3.66
90 = A- = 3.66
93 = A- = 3.66
90 = A- = 3.66

Average 3.55 = B+ or A-

darn, asked my counselor about it and he said that in my school, they dont even do unweighted. Its just weighted. Cuz they say that its pointless cuz colleges recalculate gpa their own way anyways. So they just do weighted. o well
