I got my report card today, my grades were as following: Unweighted: Chem - 65 :( English - 85, APUSH - 87, French IV - 92, Math - 79, Latin I - 74, Social Justice - 89 and GYM - 95. Weighted: Chem - 68, English - 88, APUSH - 94, French IV - 100, Math - 84 and Latin -74, Social Justice - 89 and Gym - 95. So my unweighted average is an 85. and my weighted average is an 88. I don't know if thats a 2.8 or a 3.8, probably a 2.8. The colleges I am interested in applying to are: Villanova, Boston College (dream school), skidmore, Tulaine, UWisconsion - Madison. Those are like my reaches. I had about a 94 weighted average last year. The reason why my grades are low is because I don't do my Homework, plus I had varsity soccer for 3 + hours a day after school.

Ya, you really need to work harder. Dont be lazy and do your homework, or else you will fail at life

wow, whats wrong with you people!

Ilovesoftball44: Don't worry! Life isn't over, just get back into your vibe and everything thing will fall back into place. Just try to do your hw and your grades will go up. And no you did ruin your chances in getting into those schools, you still have a good chance :)

what about me?..i think i did better than last year for the 1st quarter (btw..last year i got a B in AP World...and got a final avg. of an A+ even with a midterm grade of 74)

Pre-Calculus Accelerated: 95-A+
AP Statistics: 93-A
Spanish 4 Accelerated: 94.3 (so close to A+) but an A
AP US History-83-B
AP English Language-83-B
AP Chemistry:87-B+
Gym: A/A+
Orchestra: an A+ (im guessing)

those are unweighted grades tho

You're going to get stuck in Iraq.

lol yeah i happen to have read that article.

i hate to be hard on you but i dont understand your logic for not doing homework. especially now.

You are a junior and you don't do your homework? I know it might be stressful playing a sport and all, but can't you find other ways of doing it like, waking up just a little earlier in the morning , or doing it on the bus or right between classes.
If you want to get into a good college, I'm sorry to surprise you but you have to do your homework.

Sorry if I sound a little harsh :o

Who cares if you sound harsh. Not doing her homework is just laziness, thus she won't get into a good college.
