Hey HELP ME OUT on where to apply for early

<p>Hi,
This is my first time writing here so I'm kind of nervous. But I really want your advice on where to apply for early.</p>

<p>So, my stats.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 (pretty low i know - but i go to one of the top private boarding schools in the country)
SAT: 2310
AP: I have 4 5s and 5 4s....</p>

<p>And I have a lot of extracurricular activities (I can't describe all of them but anyways)</p>

<p>So, I'm considering either applying to Yale (REA) or Brown/RISD (ED) or Wharton (ED)</p>

<p>I know that out of all of them, Brown would be the easiest to get in but at the same time, if I apply there ED, then I'm bound to go there. And I really want to be able to have a lot of options in the spring when I'm choosing where to go for college. (Also, even if I don't get into the program, I have to go to Brown if I get in - and I don't want to do this cause I wanna go to both Brown AND RISD)</p>

<p>I would apply to Wharton but my chances are VERY VERY slim because my GPA isnt that great, as you see.</p>

<p>But I'm scared of applying Yale early because again, it's really hard to get in and also because I can't apply anywhere else since its restricted. (I was originally planning on applying to UChicago as EA along with my ED school for early.)</p>

<p>AHH I'm so stuck. help me out.</p>

<p>I know the chances are like - Yale, Wharton, and Brown/RISD.
And the problem is I really want to use this early chance well. (Obviously it increases your chance of getting into a school sooo)</p>

<p>To be honest you need to decide for yourself regarding early rounds. Your GPA will most likely knock you out of the most competitive standings at those highly competitive universities. I don’t know if calling Brown/RISD the easiest to get into is an accurate statement - the Brown/RISD program is very competitive. If you don’t want to be bound, you might want to look at schools like Georgetown and University of Notre Dame.</p>
