Hey peeps!!!

So, how good does taking Calculus III at a local college look to colleges?

My schedule is pretty packed. 4 AP classes, much community involvement, very demanding club. My counselor said that I "maxed out on the AP classes the school offers" and that it won't make that much of a difference. I always saw it as a bit of a "jem" to be able to take a college class while in high school. : )

What do you guys think?

Is it unique?

How hard is Calculus III?

Thanks!

“Jem” or gem?

ahahaha!
Thanks! I was thinking the artist.
Well, what do you think?

If you love math, taking the Calc III will demonstrate your passion as well as your academic drive. Many top applicants have taken some college courses, however, so it would not really make you a stand-out. If you received a fabulous recommendation from the professor after acing the class, that would attract notice.
