Hey WHat are my chances of ED at Columbia?!?1 (Time is running out!!)

u guys are soooooo negative dudes. none of u think positive or try to look at the bright side....oh well i still have hope

We are trying to be as harsh as possible so you don't get your hopes up. We are being honest. Anyway, I did say that your age is an advantage.

I'm not going to think positive and look at the bright side, nor while I think negative and look at the dark side. I think most people here are trying to give you an honest and realistic perspective. Don't shoot the messengers.

usually, students whose native English is not Albanian are given a little leeway on Standardized tests. I don't know if this would balance out your scores, however.

btw, Im also from Albania (came here when I was 9):)

hey helix (shqipe) lolz, ur prob right that they might give leeway for that, cuz i have other stuff to compensate for the scores ya know. also for you who said they wont accept me cuz im 16 and "immature" are wrong cuz if i were so immature i wouldnt have achieved what i have achieved so far and i think the teach recs wont make me seem like a child lolzz.....
helix, where are you from lol?? =) hehehe

"also for you who said they wont accept me cuz im 16 and "immature" are wrong cuz if i were so immature i wouldnt have achieved what i have achieved so far "

Maturity comes in many different forms. You could be intellectually capable and academically mature, but socially not ready for college.

eldushi, I'm from the city of Fier. How about you?

I don't think there's anything wrong with being 16 and applying. I'm guessing your app is submitted already, so Good Luck! It's out of your hands now: all you can do is hope for the best.

I applied to Penn ED, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us:)
