<p>If you want to go pre-med w/ physics major, you mainly have to do the organic chem and the introductory biology(+plus lab) series worth about 33 units in addition to whatever you’re suppose to be doing for your physics degree. Its certainly doable if you work hard enough. I would recommend checking with the the pre-health advisor to see if you might want to do it.</p>
<p>Is UCSB good for pre med? Are there any internships, research, volunteer opportunities that are medical related? How about shadowing doctors…are there any around in Santa Barbara? Also, I was thinking of majoring in marine biology but is that a bad idea for a pre med at UCSB? Should I major in biology instead? Thanks so much!! (:</p>
