Hi, quick quesiton :)

during my first semester senior year i recieved a 3.8 gpa, but now it looks like i might be ending up my second semester with a 3.0 gpa.

even though i still achieved a 3.0 or higher would uci rescind my admission because of the drop of grades?

oh and one more thing, how important is senior year high school attendance in their decision to rescind admissions?

thanks :)

dont worry they will not rescind your admission. Just make sure that you dont get anything below a C.

Awww... how cute... i've never gotten a GPA as high as a 3.8... my average is around a 3.0... and San Diego wanted me... how funny that people stress over 3.0s when I was chill with a 2.6 one semester last year...

For UCSD, UCI, and UCD, weigh your GPA and make sure it is 3.0 or higher. For UCLA or UCB, don't weigh it.

Since it seems like you're going to UCI, your gpa is actually a lot higher than many =]. Your acceptance will NOT be revoked, no worries.

yay thanks for the answers folks :)

does anyone know about the attendance though?

i have never heard that they check attendance. If you go online at the "my application" for UCI, you should be able to see the provisions for admission and attendance is not one of them (at least for Berkeley).

they don't look at attendance. as long as you have the grades they must assume that you went to class enough to learn the material.

****......it looks like i might get a c in my english class....im still in range though right? thanks again

For UCs all you need is a B average to stay in consideration.
