Im looking to travel somewhere for a really cheap price. I would like to go somewhere peaceful and beautiful maybe a hidden treasure so it wont be touristy or expensive. But I dont want to be in the middle of nowhere-I would like to have something to do. Any suggestions?

It's probably not cheap, coming from Tejas as you are, but a relatively underrated area is Slovakia, absolutely gorgeous.

Latin America is beautiful, and cheap if you find a blackmarket exchange rate for dollars. I'd recommend seeing Angel Falls. The village "near" it (forgot the name) has a few waterfalls you can hike around nearby, and the trip to Salto Ángel itself is four hours by boat both ways and a few hours of hiking. I know there are various camp/expedition options around Canaima also if you're into that. Brazil isn't exactly peaceful but there are a lot of good beaches. Machu Picchu is a good trip, just don't go to Lima, and you can stay at a very peaceful monastery in Cusco, go horseback riding, a few other things. Chile is a great country, tons of places to go. Everything from secluded little stops like Villarica/Pucón (volcano and lake) to Chiloe and Viña del Mar to Atacama (was never there, but got close enough, La Serena).

Check out Croatia or many parts of Turkey. Turkey especially had some of the most friendly helpful people I met my entire time in Europe. In Turkey you can see Istanbul which hold several wonders of the world, or you can travel along the coasts and see some amazing coastline.
