High ACT Low GPA (bad freshman year)

HI Everyone,

I have a UW GPA 3.47/4.5
ACT 34
Strong EC
UC GPA 3.6
My freshman year grades were awful so thats why my UC GPA is much more impressive than my regular GPA

What are my chances of getting into schools like
UCLA
USC
U of Michigan
U of Miami

Those are my reaches because I understand that my GPA is no good. Will my EC’s and ACT outweigh my GPA?

You look pretty good for those schools, regardless of GPA. Also, I’ve seen worse GPA’s for these schools. USC and ICLA might be a reach but you’re good for Miami and Michigan.

UCLA/USC: Low Reach
Not sure about rest. GPA definitely a hinderance but you could make it up with your essays and EC’s.
