High ACT, low gpa!!!

I have a 3.2 gpa and received a 31 on my act. Although my gpa doesn’t reflect my act scores, I have many community service hours and hobbies. Please let me know if I can get into any of the following colleges:
Lehigh
Uwisconsin
Uwashinton
Uflorida
Umiami
UVM
Villanova
UNC- chapel hill
Tulane
NYU
THANKS!

What is your in-state school(s)? A lot of these are both expensive and competitive for out of state students. Do you know what your family can afford?

The 3.2 gpa is unweighted

Not trying to brag but my family is very affluent and can afford any of the colleges listed

Is the 3.2 weighted, unweighted, or both?

unweighted

Then what is your weighted GPA? Have you taken any AP or Honors courses?

Could you give us a little more info? Class rank, home state, are your an URM (under represented minority)? Weighted GPA? Intended major?

I’ve taken a few honors courses, 3.6weighted gpa, New Jersey, Intend to major in business. I’m white

Tulane, NYU, UNC, and UF will all be reaches with your gpa. Not sure about some of the other ones. At a lot of schools, gpa is considered more than test scores because it represents 3 years of worth instead of what you did in 3 hours.

@collegebruh69 what about Rutgers?

@jennacwa I agree that some schools give the GPA more weight, but I disagree that the ACT only tests what you did in a few hours. I think it tests skills and knowledge you have developed over your entire life, especially reading and science.

one thing universities look at is the rigor of your APs- which AP classes did you take?
