High ACT Math, low SAT math... But higher SAT Reading

Hi, I just recently got my April ACT scores back and I am baffled. I received a 32 composite (superscored with my previous test in February) with 30 english, 35 math, 30 reading, 31 science and a 9 essay.

This surprised me mainly because my 35 ACT math is alot better than my 700 SAT math while my 730 SAT writing (with a 10 essay) is better than my 29 ACT english (30 reading with 9 essay). The main thing I can’t figure out is that is it disadvantageous for me to have such test scores that compensate for each other? If I was to submit my score to a college right now, would they think less of me for scoring low on SAT math and low on ACT english… Or would they consider my test scores holistically and use the higher score to represent my abilities. My mentioned SAT score was a 2120 (700 math, 690 cr, 730 w) which is haunting accurate to the ACT’s prediction of SAT-ACT correlation of a 32 composite. Thanks!

They will not consider cross test results. Looks like you could send either one and be even.

Facing the same issue. More feedback would be appreciated.

@“Erin’s Dad” That’s not necessarily true. Georgia Tech super scores across both tests and some other colleges may also do so. So the OP should check and see what the college that they are applying to does.

@MichiganGeorgia is correct. Some schools like Tech consider both together.

Yes, someone pointed that out to me since May. I don’t know of any others besides GTech.

Regardless if both scores are not cross superscored, should both be sent anyway? I have a low reading section on the sat but high in the act. Same for writing but switched. I’m not too sure on how colleges would select which test to look at, but I’m assuming they would look at one of the tests instead of both.
