I go to a public school that has a crazy grading scale. They implemented this grading scale 4 years ago to combat the large amount of students getting A’s and F’s, and no one was getting C’s. They basically did a communist act(money making) and made it where getting an F is harder than getting an A. I’m not exaggerating. 1 of my teachers during freshmen year even said that you basically had to try to fail this class.
Each HS sends a school profile along with each HS transcript so the college can understand your transcript (including things like GPA, classes taken) in the context of your school. It should not be an issue.

I talked to my GC about the school profile and she said that she only sends it when the college requests for which she says doesn’t happen much, but it can be accessed through the common app.
I also took a look at the school profile and it does not go into great detail about the grading scale. All it basically has is the percentage for a specific grade. I mean it will “help” since it does show that 93% is a B+. There was a couple typos as well… my school is so lazy…
@Iamthegoat It goes significantly easier to get a B or C. Got significantly harder for an A.

That’s what my teacher freshmen year said. For example, if you fail 10 tests but get a D on 1 test, you get a D- for the semester… They purposely tried to make it where everyone passes, but in turn makes an A much harder.
