High GPA but low ACT; USC, UCLA, UCB

Do I have a shot at USC, UCLA, UCB?

I have an unweighted GPA of 3.84 and a weighted GPA of 4.33 at a relatively competitive high school. I have very meaningful extracurriculars and I have pretty good personal statement (it is subjective, though) As well as that, I do medical research at the University of Southern California everyday and am very passionate about it; however, my ACT score is a 26, so I am a bit worried about that. I have excellent recommendation letters and the heaviest workload possible at my school: 9 APs. I'm also ranked 12/360. Would my act score affect me too much, or would a holistic approach help me out?

Oh, and I've been published in a scientific journal recently with some of the data I've attained.

The UCs use a very formulaic approach that heavily considers scores and they also don’t except letters of rec. Have you tried the SAT?
