Are there any chances of getting accepted to a good / decent school with high GPA (All A ranges except a B+ in PE in 9th grade), with a dreadful SAT I + II score (1800 ~ 1900, CR especially BAD). I've done quite alot of extracurricular activities and have taken classes that aren't so easy.

Any thoughts or comments?

Why not study for SAT? SAT is a thing you can take many times, not like a school which is once and for all so use advantages of your situation!

No, Schools will just assume you're high school has a lot of grade inflation.

im planning to study over the summer break and bring my scores up to around 2000 hopefully

Getting your SATs up is very important.

SATs enables colleges to see how students fare on a level playing ground. They also use it to see how difficult your high school is.

but won't colleges consider ur class ranks?

and also... Do colleges take into account if you're an int'l student? jst wondering

Colleges Admissions is substantialy harder for Interantional Students who need financial Aid.

There are a lot "good/decent" schools that a 1800 SAT will get you into.

Can you get into an Ivy?

probably not

Can you get into most state schools and LACs?

Yes

And 1900 is a REALLY good score, dont let the scores here affect your thinking

Take the ACT. Some kids just seem to do alot better on that test!!

Most schools will be happy to have you. It's easy on CC to think there are only 25 schools in the US.
