High Priority Number for Fall......

Hi,
My priority number for fall is 6,900. I know it was stupid of me to apply so late but I wasn't even sure exactly when we could apply. Am I going to be stuck living off campus?

Thanks

You will likely get a spot, but you may not know until late summer. DO NOT FALL FOR THE APARTMENT COMPLEXES that say if you don’t sign now you won’t get a spot. There are way more apartments than students, and there are many who run specials over summer. The longer you wait. sometimes the better the deal.

Hang in there and wait it out. For the last two years, pretty much everyone who wanted to live on campus as a freshman did. We know a girl who came off the waitlist in June who got a spot.

Thank you for the apartment information sunny!

A few years back FSU reduced their freshman class by 1000. And with the opening of Wildwood and Degraff, there have been plenty of off campus student apartments available for the last few years. Sure, upperclassman are signing contracts for summer or fall by Feb/March because they want to have roommates set, or they want to find a house, etc. But for freshman, don’t fall for any pressure to sign an apartment contract. You can sign just for a one bedroom within a 4/4 and the complex will fill the other 3. So wait until the last minute. No promises, but you are likely to get a dorm room.
