My PSAT score was 230, and I'm consistently hitting 2300 on the blue book SATs under simulated test conditions. However, my cumulative GPA as of the last semester (I'm a junior) was only 3.35. I was homeschooled through the second semester of freshman year, when I switched to a stupid online charter school. I then transferred to a IB high school, where I am enrolled as a partial IB student. (I am not able to get my IB diploma because I cannot take enough years of foreign language to be able to take the mandatory IB test) My sophomore year, my first year of "real" school since kindergarden was tough for me in many ways. I was homeschooled due to my chronic illness, which continues to effect my performance. Long story short, my GPA last year was 2.7 unweighted. That's utter garbage. I'm feeling much better this year, and applying myself more. This semester, I've got a 3.5 UW GPA, and will most likely do similarly or better next semester, as well as next year.

How doomed am I? I'm not expecting to get into Stanford or anything, my favorite school is Occidental College. My ECs aren't spectacular, but I am doing an internship working with laser mapping of a creek and I am an officer in two clubs, I write for my school's independent newspaper, and am planning on starting another club next year.
