High School Absences a Factor in Admission?

lol i read the title as "High School Abstinence a Factor in Admission?" I shouldn't be browsing CC rightn ow

@Orien, does that mean you have heard for a fact that they aren't?

no need to keep bumping this thread. They will 90% not show up and as stated, if you miss a lot but still find a way to pull in A's, they do not care.

like tarheel said, stop bumping this thread and go outside. You can't change a darn thing anyways. How will well meaning people's opinions on this issue do anything for you? MIT won't tell you, so stop fretting.

I had 60+ absences in AP US History my junior year second semester and 40 for the first semester. I got a 5 on the test and got A for both semesters, already accepted to UChicago early. No one gives a **** about your attendance.

sorry for bumping this thread so much, I've just been really anxious lately. thanks for all the replies.
