No I refuse to have it be a rejection cause pace is my #1 school; me and my best friend are applying and I know she’ll get in, I’m the one we are worried about.

My son applied to Rutgers sebs and udell, uconn, Vermont, Ohio state, new Hampshire and binghamton…sat score 1630 not great but gpa weighted 3.81 tough classes ap and honors classes. Plus lots of ec…hope to hear soon…

All RD for meeeee

Carleton
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC Irvine
USC
RPI
Stanford
Yale, since I sent them SAT scores

Yep yep lots of California schools for the California girllllll

I fit their profile. I’m only 6 points under their SAT score average. I had a teacher who went there write my rec. I really hope I get in. Out of the schools I have a chance at, Pace is my first choice too.

I did realize today how much I love NYU. I added it to my list. I’m trying so hard not to get attached to a particular school so that I’m not crushed by any rejection, but it’s hard not to. Pace, Brandeis, and NYU are my favorites on my list.

I think I should be ok, my GC letter of rec was amazing and I’m sure my advisors was too. I have a 24 act ( college board says avg is 23-26) and a 3.9 GPA so I crossing my fingers. College board also says they accept 83% of people…

For everyone worrying about pace I know people who got in with less than 3.00 W GPA and 1500 SATs

I’m hearing back from a bunch of schools in the upcoming weeks. So nervous!

SCEA to Tulane

My others schools are:

University of Miami (Florida)
Georgia Tech
Wake Forest
Southern Methodist
Rhodes
Clemson

And I already got into Loyola University New Orleans

GOT INTO BAYLOR!
I know this isn’t a big school to everyone, but it just feels good that I can finally go to a University, even if I would be in over $250K in debt…

Just a thought, maybe we can make a class of 2013 college acceptances like they do on the parent forum, so everything is easier to see & use this to write where we are applying and “celebrate” (as the parent put it lol) let me know what you think

Sent my application to Boston University (officially!) two days ago. I’ll probably send Cornell fairly soon as well; my essay is close to completion.

Jazzi go ahead and make one.

I’ve already applied to 11 schools. 3 more to go!!

Btw, this is insane. I can’t wait for everything to be finished!

Lol I’ve finished supplements for every college except Princeton and Carnegie Mellon in an effort to avoid them, and now they’re staring me in the face.

My list has changed significantly since I posted here last, btw, so I’ll update it.

Columbia (ED)
Georgia Tech (EA)
Rutgers (RD)
Cornell (RD)
UChicago (RD)
Tufts (RD)
Harvard (RD)
Carnegie Mellon (RD)
Princeton (RD)
RPI (RD)
WPI (RD)
Stony Brook (RD)
UC Berkeley
UCLA
Northwestern (RD)
MIT (RD)

I think I’ve fallen into the trap of applying to too many colleges and making my list too top heavy, ironically the thing I was trying to warn against earlier. Sigh. I don’t know how it happened. I think I was just trying to avoid the P’ton supplement (I hate the question) that I ended up doing all these, and now I have some massive list.

Boston College has become my number one choice, I get their decision around Christmastime. If I don’t get accepted (according to parchment.com, my chance is about 45% of getting in which is making at least a tiny bit confident), my close second choice is NYU which I won’t find out about until around April 1st. Sigh.

These next few months will be very stressful. The fact I’ve already gotten into four colleges has soothed me a bit (no community college for me, yay ) but I can’t wait to just know where I’ll be going.

^^i applied to BC also, and apparently they’re mailing out decisions the 14th…if you look on the BC board if you go onto your agora portal a few days before the decisions are mailed you can figure out if you get in or not if the pay enrollment deposit tab pops up… I’m going to start checking mine around the 11th12th ish

Done with Caltech, MIT, USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley and UW now
So just HYPS left haha…I’ll probably trim that list if I get into one of my earlies

I learned not to apply to super small schools with the resources to have admissions counselors who will call you to start long conversations where they try to say that their longest tenured professor (who happens to be a math professor) will love you and that they will be e-mailing you every Friday…

Wait, what? Are you serious?

Has anyone heard of Mercer University?
