I need to study for the World History Subject Test :c.

I should’ve taken it when I took the AP exam.

I need to study for the World History Subject Test :c.

I should’ve taken it when I took the AP exam.

I think I would fail ap world so I’m just going to take the other SAT subject tests.:P

Wow like… exactly same here. I made two stupid mistakes in math, probably got around 5-7 wrong in CR, and I think I got perfect in writing (possibly 2-3 wrong, but I doubt it).

I think I got around 205-215… depending on how badly I actually did on CR.

Aren’t subject tests on a higher level than SAT 1?

^ No… not really. Some colleges such as the Ivies just require them, though.

^^ Yes, some are. For example, the Literature SAT II is a higher level of Critical Reading than the one on SAT I, and the Math IIC SAT II is a higher level than the math section on SAT I.

Nah. Those mistakes aggragate to at least 2200.

Yeah I’ll wait till junior year.
I might take the French Subject test this year, though.

Lol SAT Subject tests are just to take any time. It’s better if it’s right after a course you finished.
MathII is the easiest test ever, though.

Probably, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up. I did terrible on some of the passage based questions. I’d get it down to two choices, and then pick the wrong answer.

Worst case scenario for CR, I got around 8 wrong = -10 raw = ~65 (using last years curve). Then for math, I’m almost positive I got exactly 2 wrong = ~74. For writing, I probably got all of them right, but if I’m unlucky, I might have gotten 1-5 wrong = ~65-80.

Total = ~205-219

I guess that’s pretty good. Next year I should be able to get NMSF if I actually study a bit. This year I just took a practice PSAT like two nights before, read up on some grammar rules, and then basically made flash cards of DH words because I haven’t gone through the second volume of DH, and that would’ve been time consuming.

Hi! I’m a fellow year 2013 graduate!
I’m not as quick as most of you here when it comes to making big dreams or goals, and I really hope to find my ‘purpose in life’ soon.
Vaguely speaking, I’m shooting for one of the ‘top’ universities. (Top 20, perhaps?)
I feel very regretful that I didn’t work harder in my earlier years during high school, so meeting that goal would be challenging. But now that I know its importance, I’m working hard for it!

Hey nostalgia, Nice meeting you! What’s up?
Did Sophmore year just get more harder? I had the most hectic week since a long time.

Do you guys generally have a slow start first mp? I always do :{

^^ I have a list of exams, music performances and assignment due dates coming up!

ugh august+september were easier. now it’s just Ekk
maybe its because I’ve gotten use to pace.

It’s stayed the same for now c:.

I can’t for hell month. Six APs to panic about, a literary magazine that needs to be published, a competition (or two) that we want to win, and probably a field trip.

WHOOO.

Hey guys, I’m an aspiring doctor and would love to go to Duke, Rice, or Vanderbilt. There’s on little problem, though. Where I live is RUINING my dreams!!! My school offers, no honors, ap, or ib courses whatsoever! Why you ask? Because the kids in my school are so stupid we put all of our money into vocational classes because the majority of our students aren’t college material! I don’t know what to do! Any suggestions on what I should do to strengthen my transcript? I have a 4.0 and will probably graduate valedictorian, am in FCCLA, HOSA, and have over 180 volunteer hours. But it’s not so impressive when you go to a school with no challenging courses. I was thinking I could sign up for dual enrollment at the local community college and then go take the AP exam at another school to try and get the credit. Would taking one of those classes be enough to do well on an AP exam if I studied really hard, use test prep, etc? And oh yeah, class of 2013 rocks:)

^ Do dual enrollment or take some classes online.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

what is HOSA?

Health occupations students of America.
