High School Class of 2013

^ Ahh, I love my Health Occ classes.

Yeah, they’re pretty interesting. Have you ever done one of the HOSA competitions?

Yay, first quarter is over! 4 day weekend!

^^ Can’t say I have, but I know people who did them for Skills USA.

Ehh, anyone else scared of their grades. All straight A’s besides a D, I’m freaking.

Thinking of dropping the class. It really is the teacher in this case. Can anyone relate?

^^That’s cool. I’ve done FCCLA competition but never a HOSA competition. I’m planning on doing one this year, which is why I asked if you had done one.

I totally should have done some last year. Oh well…

Fudgeeeeee

All A’s, an A+ in AP US Government, a B in Biology, but a freaking C+ in Spanish 3 because the preterit tense is a *****.

I have all A’s and maybe one or two A-. I would have an A+ in all of my A classes if they gave them at my school, but unfortunately they don’t. I have like a 97+ in every class except for the two A- classes, AP government (might be an A), and Spanish 3 (an A if I’m really lucky).

All that doesn’t really matter though. I’m doing well, so an A- doesn’t really matter, and I can correct it to an A by the end of the year.

On a side note: It really does frustrate me that such a small difference on the 100 point scale equates to a huge difference on the 4 point scale. For example: a 91/100 vs a 93/100 is an A- vs an A, and only a 2 percent difference, but thats a 7.5 percent difference on the 4.0 scale (3.7 vs 4.0). I haven’t been affected by this yet, but I foresee myself getting at least an A- or two in the future.

^ I’m not worried at all about my grades. Because my school doesn’t have APs and I’m not old enough to do dual enrollment, school is extremely easy for me at this point. I wish I had a challenge. My school doesn’t even separate the smart kids and the(excuse me) dumb ones so pretty much all of our work is targeted toward the lower end of the class. It holds everyone who has the slightlest learning ability back a ton!

You should self-study some APs or see if you can take them online.

All A’s and two B’s. Two B’s in Ap world and Spanish 2. I hate spanish. But our school only counts the semster and year. so I’m okay and yah, I have a three-day weekend.

^^ That’s what I’m trying to do, I just don’t know what kinds of books to buy and stuff. Any suggestions?

^go check out the ap section of this board. probably buy something like Princeton Review.

^ What about like textbooks? I know what kinds of test review I can buy but I’m lost when it comes to textbooks.

^To self study, I’ve read you don’t need a textbook. just make sure you know the reviews.

So, who here’s going to be an IB student in less than a year?

^^ wow, that’s great then lol.

@hanana-me! I’m scared! I already have tons of work and I’m ust in “pre-ib.” Our teachers are like strict as hell.:(

^ I’m going to be in pre-IB next semester (next Feb).
I can’t say I’m too scared yet since I have the SATs this January!
