High School Class of 2013

They’re not required in my state either but it did help. Mostly with parking they haven’t taken it out here.

I’m officially basically done with my classes. Not really, but the only classes i’ll be doing work in are pre calc and chem until june 13. I can handle that. I felt like I burned out after the first month of school.

Tomorrow is my last day at school. I’m going to take AP Human Geo exam and take my pre calculus final, no where near ready for either one. Wish me luck guys, I will need it.

Yea…

APUSH test next week, then finals, then regents, then ACT, then Subject Tests, and lots of end of the year projects and tests. Where the heck do you guys go to school?

Today the seniors had their IB Spanish tests in the morning, which was like 2 hours, and then IB Bio in the afternoon, which was about 3 hours and 45 minutes. Then they have them again tomorrow and Monday.

IB testing sucks. I haven’t had any tests since last Monday, and I’m still drained from them. I have such a bad case of junior year burnout it isn’t funny. And I still have finals/Regents in all my classes, 3 SAT Subject Tests, and the ACT.

Anyone else just stopped doing their homework (from honors or regular classes) now that AP’s are over? My AP classes are now periods to chill + finish math and Spanish homework lol

Everyone’s all like yay AP is over and my test is in five days.

We’re still learning stuff in my AP class, unfortunately. We have another test, and plus, our final is coming up. :(

I’ve got 6 more days. I’m exempt from 2 of my finals, but the other two (Honors Precal and Honors Physics) I’m going to be borderline…I have to basically maintain EXACTLY what I have right now in each class to get a good enough grade to be exempt. It’s harder than it sounds though to not be able to under a certain point on the grading scale.

Two massive papers and an SAT II before I allow senioritis to engulf me in its tendrils…

AP Lang- I’m not sure how that class is going to be now. We get a take home final. So I can sleep in the day that pd 1 (all period 1s in the school take their finals at the same time) takes their final.

APUSH- He’s only giving us a final because he has to. He says he’s making it simple and told us not to study. We’re watching movies now in there (Forest Gump!).

APES- We’re not doing anything. It’s a study hall/movie/whatever else period. Our final is simple in there as well. I only need a D anyways to keep my B. (There’s no chance that I’m getting an A.)

Physics Honors- It was a mainly senior class. I think there are maybe 7 or so juniors. He’s just bringing up random Physics topics we didn’t get a chance to do. But there’s no work with it and there are no more tests. So it’s basically learning, but fun because there’s no work. Our final… I don’t know. I’m assuming it’ll be easy since there’s only few kids left.

Trig (honors)- we still have class. And she’s making the final so difficult that only a couple of kids get A’s -_- Since I have no other real finals I want that A.

AP Psych- We’re watching psych movies. Our final is a combination of every movie.

Yeahhh I still have 2 SAT 2’s, an online training course for my summer internship, online Precalc, and a paper before the school year ends. Three more weeks wooo

I only have tomorrow (skipped today) and then exams! I have to take 4 finals (I took 2 AP’s and doubled up in science). I’m not complaining though, summer begins next Wednesday at 10:30!

Have you guys decided (if you’re doing it) what your ED school is?
For me I’m going to say:
60% chance is will be Rice
30% chance is will be WashU
5% chance it will be Northwestern
5% chance it will be UChicago

I’m getting a little nervous though. All of my schools have acceptance rates that are dropping fast.

Yeah we discussed our schools on other pages and other forums. But I just we should update again.

Yea. At least we need to stay on the first page. We were on the 4th page when I finally found are thread, yet class of 2016 is on the first page… Seriously? lol
I’ve just been having momentary freak outs because a lot of the data for the schools I like just came out, and the acceptance rates have been dropping a lot.

But on a lighter note… I’m almost done! About 2 weeks left!

I am going for Cornell ED.

I’m 95% sure im EDing to duke (just booked my flight to visit in june!) but if not im applying EA to everywhere that offers it from my list…so my list is:
Duke
Notre Dame
UNC
UVA
Vanderbilt
Boston College
Georgetown
Penn
Brown
University of Michigan
Possibly Dartmouth or Cornell, but probably not though
Loyola (safety)
William and Mary (safety)

@Tennis, we have almost identical lists! I’m applying to Duke ED. (The acceptance rate jumps from 10 to 30 percent!) With EA, what are the benefits? I’m confused as to what the difference is from EA to ED.

@1Rachel94 no way! thats the main reason im applying ed…and i think for ea you just find out sooner…im impatient so i’d like to know and if i get in to any i wont have to rd to safeties! i am in love with duke so praying i get in haha
